Make Money From Writing

Being able to write is for me almost akin to being able to breathe. A slight exaggeration but I enjoy writing and see the Internet as a way for me to be able to write what I want and be freely published. I can also explore different ways of making money from my writing and on this webiste I will show you what I find.

I love experimenting and expressing my views and it gets better when you can use writing to make money. Nothing is ever black and white with me. If you are skilled enough you can make money from writing in the traditional ways of submitting short stories, articles etc. to various publications. On the Internet the opportunities for making money from your writing goes far beyond that.

There are millions of websites on the internet and more being launched every minute. One of the ways to get traffic and make money from a website is by gaining high rankings in search engines. To stand a better chance in the search engines a savvy werbmaster knows that need some original regularly updated content. Of course you need to make your web pages search engine friendly by optimising them

When your site gets visitors you need to be able to grab their attention and keep them on your site longer than the few seconds it takes to click away. Good original content will help to make that happen. The longer that you can keep your visitors interested the more chance you have of earning from your ads.

If you can write good copy for your own website then it's only one step further offering your services to others who aren't as talented as you at writing. There we have 2 ways of making money from your writing and both could make you a regular income.

There is some money to be made from writing product reviews for Review or opinion websites. Not a fortune but if you are opinionated and looking for experience or feedback it's a good place to start. I wrote for Ciao for a couple of years, made some money and enjoyed the community feel. You can also sign up to complete surveys and if you qualify make a small income.

Another option is resume writing. Not everybody can write well and as a skillfully put together resume can make a big difference in searching for employment good resume writers can offer their services for a fee. Your service can be offered on the Internet or in your local paper, it really depends upon how much work you want and where there is a demand.

There are many opportunities for freelance work available on the Internet and that includes freelance copywriting or ghost writing.
